Our flagship ranking took three weeks of research. We started with dozens of GLP-1 telehealth platforms and eliminated most of them. Here's the exact process.
Step 1 — Legitimacy screening
Before a platform can be ranked at all, it has to be verifiably legitimate: licensed, board-certified physicians writing real prescriptions; credentials like LegitScript certification or BBB accreditation; and medication sourced from FDA-registered pharmacies (503B outsourcing facilities for compounded products). Platforms selling injectables with no prescription requirement are excluded immediately — that's not a weight loss program, it's a hazard.
Step 2 — Review cross-checking
We cross-reference every platform's reputation across Trustpilot, Reddit, Google reviews and specialist forums — and we actively dig out fake-review patterns that could skew the picture. Volume matters as much as score: three excellent reviews prove nothing; a hundred consistent ones start getting solid, and fakes become much easier to spot against that baseline.
Step 3 — Real-cost math
Advertised prices in this market are routinely misleading. We add up what a year actually costs: dose-tier price jumps, membership fees, paid follow-up visits, cold-chain shipping, lab work and supplies. A platform that advertises $199/month but bills $550 in practice gets scored on the $550.
Step 4 — Support and follow-up quality
The cheapest program that abandons you after the sale is the most expensive one — failure means regaining the weight. We weigh medical follow-up intensity, dose-adjustment practices, response times and whether support is human or a chatbot maze.
Ongoing updates
Prices and promotions in GLP-1 telehealth change weekly. The main ranking is reviewed monthly; the price tracker is checked weekly, with offers verified directly with the platforms whenever they respond to us — and against their websites when they don't.
About the money
Some links on this site are affiliate links, and some platforms in our rankings pay us a commission when readers sign up. Two hard rules keep this honest: commissions never influence position — our #1 is our #1 whether or not it pays — and platforms that fail the legitimacy screen stay out no matter what they offer.
